On May 30, around 5:00 AM, a message from the unknown person was received at Chornobyl NPP e-mail reporting that an explosive object has been put at the territory of ChNPP industrial site.
Shortly after the information was received, an emergency response unit was formed consisting of representatives of the Operator and divisions of the Security Service of Ukraine, National Police, National Guard and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine managing the verification of the received message.
An emergency preparedness mode was announced at the enterprise, and measures have been undertaken to protect the personnel. Measures to prevent a terrorist threat are being carried out according to the plan.
SSE ChNPP Administration kindly requests the mass media to not disturb the ChNPP divisions with calls on the current situation regarding the searches. The update on the searches results will be posted on ChNPP official website.
